35.1 Open day 2024

This project was developed by Yair Mau to the 2024 open day at the Faculty of Agriculture.

35.1.1 Download:

• Fritzing diagram in pdf
• Fritzing diagram in fzz
• Code to upload to your ESP32
• Python code to plot live the measured data

35.1.2 Materials needed:

• ESP32 Firebeetle 2
• Breadboard, wires, LED, relay, 330-ohm resistor
• SHT31 temperature and humidity sensor
• Fan
• Power supply
• A computer to plot live data

35.1.3 What this project is about:

Whenever relative humidity goes above a given threshold (e.g. 80%), the fan turns on. When RH goes below threshold, fan turns off. The ESP32 must be connected to a computer, and you must run the python code. The python code communicates serially with the ESP32, and also shows on the screen a live graph of temperature and relative humidity.
